Role description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will join a close-knit, friendly team of about 4 people. They provide daily, technical support and assistance to the 3,000 users of the internal applications.

Your responsibilities include:
– You are the first point of contact for your colleagues. They will reach you both by phone and email. The questions you get are very diverse: basic network issues, print issues, software & hardware issues….
– Together with your team, you also make sure that new colleagues can get started smoothly on their first working day: you install new workstations, create users in Active Directory, install the necessary software and set up exchange mailboxes correctly.
– In this big data environment, you have also already understood that security is an important aspect. You advise your colleagues in this regard, escalating to the appropriate persons if necessary.

Profile description

– You preferably have a higher degree or bachelor’s level of thinking.
– You are IT-minded and can move smoothly in this changing environment.
– You have a first experience in an IT environment, this could include an internship or practical training.
– The following terms are not unfamiliar to you: Windows 10, TCP/IP, AD, Office 365, Skype4business, Sharepoint, Onedrive, RDS,…
– You are fluent in Dutch and French, 40% of contacts are in French.
