Role description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you act as the technical anchor of your squad — hands-on, fast-moving, and deeply embedded in delivery. You work closely with the CTO and Product Managers to turn ideas into high-quality features, unblock your teammates, and guide the squad towards predictable, high-velocity output.

Roughly 80% of your time is pure engineering across backend and frontend, with 20% coaching and elevating the team. The role can organically grow into a team lead position, but does not require people management from day one.

Your work spans:

– Designing and shipping production-level features end to end

– Tackling complex backend logic in Python/FastAPI/Django

– Building reliable, scalable Angular frontends

– Improving architecture, tooling and engineering excellence

– Guiding junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and mentoring

– Translating product requirements into actionable technical work

– Raising the bar for security, reliability, testability and compliance in a regulated environment

Profile description

You are a pragmatic, product-minded engineer with an eye for simplicity and a bias for action. You thrive in complex web architectures and know how to navigate regulated environments with confidence.

You bring:

– 6–10+ years of experience building production-grade web applications

– Strong backend mastery: Python, Django, FastAPI, REST, ORM optimisation

– Solid frontend expertise: Angular, TypeScript, state management

– Experience integrating with external systems, APIs and financial/regulated environments

– A structured engineering mindset: testability, reliability, observability

– Ability to guide peers through thoughtful coaching and actionable feedback

– Strong communication skills and comfort in hybrid/async teams

– Full professional proficiency in English (other languages not required)
