Role description

As a Service Desk Engineer you will join a team of about 5 people and be responsible for supporting about 250 end users within back office.

You will take on a coordinating role and collaborate on a number of change management projects

Your challenges will include:

– Qualitatively maintain, install and monitor the local infrastructure -and network environment;
– Provide 1st and mainly 2nd line support to users within the organization, this mainly by phone and if necessary also on site;
– Keeping computers, smartphones and tablets operational (creating and managing clients, providing updates, etc.);
– Resolve issues related to in-house applications and provide support for deployment and enhancement projects in various domains (network, telephony, workstations, security, software);
– Clear communication of actions and (improvement) proposals within the team where everything is meticulously documented.

You take a highly customer-oriented approach and ensure that the user experience is central. You will find yourself in a broad position where you dynamically prioritize incidents and can accomplish a lot with proactivity.

Profile description

– You have a higher education within IT or are self-taught with the necessary expertise;
– You can preferably present several years of experience with IT help desk, troubleshooting and remote control;
– You have knowledge and experience of networking, Windows operating systems, Office applications, client computing and peripherals;
– You are preferably familiar with ITIL best practices, ServiceNow ticketing and Sharepoint;
– You have an excellent knowledge of English. Any other language is nice surplus.
