Business Analyst
Our client is a major player in the port of Ghent/Antwerp and employs some 5,500 people worldwide. For their Stabroek office, they are looking for a business analyst to play the key role in requirements gathering, validation and management.
Role description
What are your duties?
– You build process expertise across industries
– You are jointly responsible for translating business needs into IT solutions
– You will help find new technologies and creative innovative solutions that have a positive impact on the organization
– You are responsible for the analyses of various software projects
– You will, together with colleagues, work out different test scenarios and participate in the different phases. You will also provide support to the IT operations team afterwards during aftercare and in case of major incidents
– You document the new applications and processes, making sure it remains uniform
Profile description
Who are you?
– You have a higher degree, preferably a master’s degree
– You have a strong interest and/or experience in business analysis
– You are customer-oriented and can think pragmatically
– You are analytical
– You are communicatively strong in Dutch and English
– Technical knowledge: MS Office, general knowledge of software development, agile way of working
