With this “Privacy Policy”, the processing of your personal data is communicated by the following processing manager: AT RECRUITMENT BV with registered office at Verbindingsdok-Oostkaai 23, 2000 Antwerp and registered with the K.B.O. under number VAT BE 0870.869.463 (hereinafter: “AT RECRUITMENT”).

This privacy policy provides the essential information by which your personal data is processed.

By providing your Personal Data on the website and by providing email addresses listed on this website with Personal Data, you declare that you have read this Privacy Policy and also expressly agree to it, as well as to the processing itself.

Article 1 – General

AT RECRUITMENT makes every effort to also comply with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data (General Data Protection Regulation or better known as GDPR)

Article 2 – Personal data

2.1. Personal data you communicate to us:

  • Category 1, without registration: your IP address
  • Category 2: when registering on newsletter: your email address;
  • Category 3: via cookies: tracking of website usage;
  • Category 4: contact information;
  • Category 4: billing data;

2.2. AT RECRUITMENT may collect data from you (Personal Data) in a variety of ways:

  • Via server logs when visiting the website
  • By using cookies (see below);
  • During your newsletter registration, contact request, e-book download, and website use;

2.3. The website also uses cookies that collect some personal data. For provisions on the use of cookies, see Article 12.

Article 3 – Purposes of processing

3.1. General purposes:

AT RECRUITMENT will use the Personal Data collected from you solely for the following purposes:

  • Category 1: Maintaining and improving this Website and including Personal Data in pseudo-anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific individuals or companies cannot be traced, with the legal basis being the legitimate interests of AT RECRUITMENT to continuously improve its Website and services;
  • Category 2: Sending you direct marketing, newsletters, , with the legal basis being your explicit, prior consent. This permission can be revoked at any time;
  • Category 3: Improving the user experience with the legal basis being your explicit, prior consent. This permission can be revoked at any time;
  • Category 4: Responding to a submitted contact request through the website;
  • Category 5: The provision and billing of services requested by you, with the legal basis of providing a service requested by you.

We process the personal data you provide through the website in order to provide you with a good service. This allows us to follow up on your application, inform you about our services and activities, and respond to potential inquiries.

Your personal data remains within our company. Personal data collected by us will only be used to fulfill our obligations or for any other purpose on the strict condition that you have expressly agreed to it.

We may disclose your personal data to any successors and affiliates such as sister companies or customers for the same purposes as stated in this privacy statement and with your consent. We ensure that they, like us, treat your data securely and respectfully.

We use a third-party processor Flexmail. This means that we temporarily transfer data for certain tasks. This processor complies with the relevant directives through Belgian and European legislation.

You are not required to disclose your personal data, but understand that providing certain services becomes impossible if processing is refused.

In addition, these data are also used to comply with legal obligations of AT Recruitment.

3.2. Direct marketing:

If you are already included in our mailing list to receive marketing materials in paper and/or electronic form, AT RECRUITMENT may use your information to send marketing and other materials related to the various services.

This consent can be withdrawn at any time, without justification and free of charge by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided for this purpose. This unsubscribe link is included on every email sent from a direct marketing perspective. Unsubscribed contacts are completely removed from the marketing database on a monthly basis.

AT RECRUITMENT will not sell, rent or commercially make your Personal Data available to third parties except with your prior consent.

Article 4 – Duration of processing

The personal data will be kept and processed by us for a period necessary in function of the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual relationship between AT RECRUITMENT and you.

We keep your personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which we collect it. Thus, the retention period may vary by purpose. In any case, your personal data is maintained in accordance with specific legislation, as well as statutes of limitation that require us to keep your personal data for longer.

Article 5 – Where data are processed

Care is always taken to ensure that the processing of identifiable personal data can take place within the EEA (for example, this website is hosted in a Belgian data center). When a transfer is going to take place outside the EEA, we always check how appropriate safeguards can be implemented (more info on this in Article 12):

You are free to disclose or not disclose your personal information to AT RECRUITMENT. In addition, you always have the right to ask us to correct, supplement or delete your personal data.

6.3. Right to object:

You always have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons or for purposes of direct marketing.

6.4. Right of transferability:

You have the right to obtain your personal data in a structured format and/or to transfer it to other responsible parties.

6.5. Right to withdraw consent:

If the processing is based on your prior consent, you of course have the right to withdraw that consent.

6.6. Exercise of your rights:

In doing so, additional identification may be requested for identification.

6.7. Automated decisions and profiling:

While processing your personal data, no profiling methods are used with adverse automatic impact on the services received.

6.8. Right to file complaint:

Article 7 – Security and confidentiality

7.1. We have developed security measures adapted at the technical and organizational levels to avoid the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorized access or inadvertent notification to third parties of personal data collected as well as any other unauthorized processing of this data.

7.2. Under no circumstances can AT RECRUITMENT be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an erroneous or unlawful use by a third party of the personal data.

7.3. You must comply with safety regulations at all times. Thus, you are solely responsible for the use made from the website of your computer, IP address and of your identifying information, as well as for its confidentiality.

At AT RECRUITMENT, the security of your data is important to us. We take technical and organizational protection measures to prevent the misuse, loss, unauthorized access and unwanted disclosure of your personal data.

The AT RECRUITMENT website uses a reliable SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands. In addition, access only by our staff or staff of third-party processors is possible only on a need-to-know basis and is subject to strict confidentiality obligations. In doing so, we maintain a secure password policy. We also employ specialized individuals to ensure the security of our IT infrastructure. However, you understand that concerns for safety are only best-effort obligations that can never be guaranteed.

Article 12 – Privacy measures

8.1. AT RECRUITMENT has taken the following measures to protect the privacy of its visitors: Google Analytics set up according to the regulations of the Dutch Personal Data Authority (see manual 08/2018).

8.2. The embed code of YouTube videos has been changed to the no-cookie version, so there will be no tracking of visitors.

8.3. This website uses WordPress for processing incoming contact requests and newsletter management. You can always request an opt-out for this at AT RECRUITMENT or via the unsubscribe links of the newsletters. Unsubscribed contacts are permanently removed from the database on a monthly basis.

9.1. Around the use of Cookies we refer to the cookie statement of this website.

Article 10 – Google Signal

10.1. Google Analytics will associate user information collected from AT RECRUITMENT’s services with information from the accounts of logged-in users who have consented to this association. The purpose of the association is to be able to show users personalized ads.

User information is collected by “Google Signals,” a service of Google. Google Signals helps us build multi-platform data reports based on the information of users who have enabled personalized ads in their Google accounts.

The information collected by Google Signals may be information about the user’s location, search history and YouTube history, as well as data from Google partner websites. The information and data are used to provide pooled and anonymous insights into user behavior across devices.

End users can access and/or delete your data through My Activity. Google’s Privacy Policy provides more information about the data Google collects on this website.
