Our client organizes the operational affairs for a large number of dental practices in Flanders and Wallonia. Founded in 2021, the organization is already the second largest in Belgium. For their HQ in Overijse, we are looking for an IT engineer. Smaller issues you can solve remotely and the larger issues you solve on-site from the practices.
In this role, you will join the company’s IT department. Today, it consists of one person. Given the great growth of the organization, this department will expand greatly in the coming years. In this role, you will take a key role and support external first line support colleagues. More specifically, the following tasks are part of your job responsibilities:
– You will provide 2nd line support to internal colleagues, as well as dentists in the practices;
– You will ensure that the necessary infrastructure is in place for new colleagues and that users can work without problems.
– You will also be responsible for system administration, that is, maintaining, monitoring and optimizing their network system infrastructure;
– You will also provide software updates and be ultimately responsible for backups;
– You will collaborate on various IT projects to optimize the IT operation, think for example IT security.
– You have a bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
– You have knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Office products.
– You speak fluent Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
– You are flexible to tasks and dynamic which allows you to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
– You have a great sense of responsibility and have a solution-oriented attitude to assist colleagues 100%.
