Procurement Buyer – Petroleum Sector

– As a Procurement Buyer, you are a member of the procurement team and they rely on your reports, analysis and insights to create the annual strategic procurement plan.
– Together with the Purchasing manager and the other Buyers, you are responsible for organizing purchasing activities. You will primarily encounter logistics, supply chain and the challenging world of energy and electrification.
– You will build long-term relationships with partners within a particular product category and optimize purchasing processes.
– You will also be responsible for organizing tenders for medium-sized projects and ensuring timely delivery.
– Your focus will be heavily on identifying and implementing improvements within the procurement process aligned with logistics, supply chain and mobility in emerging energy markets. This includes spend analysis to improve the effectiveness of the procurement function and all associated processes.
– You will perform vendor evaluations and maintain the contract database to quickly centralize and update all information.
– For new opportunities, you keep your eyes open and coordinate with other departments to identify and address bottlenecks.

– You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
– You have 1-3 years of experience in financial or commercial management, strategic procurement, negotiation and contractual knowledge and experience in supply chain management, with awareness of supplier markets.
– You have knowledge of SAP system and the business Warehouse reporting tool for procurement and accounts payable management is an asset.
– You have experience in a corporate/and or technical commercial position is a plus, as is project management experience.
– You have technical-commercial affinity within an industrial environment.
– You are analytical, communicative, results-oriented and commercial.
– You speak excellent Dutch & English.
