For the support of the IT Team, headquartered in Aarschot, they are currently looking for an enthusiastic IT Field support engineer (NL/FR).
You will join a dynamic, energetic and versatile job. You will be the point of contact for a wide range of technical issues. You will provide technical support to end users (+-350 people) who are spread across store branches, warehouses and headquarters. You will address the incidents both remotely and on site. So you will regularly move to one of 15 locations. Some of your responsibilities include:
– You will be the first point of contact for end users experiencing technical problems. The questions can be very diverse such as, e.g.. Windows related questions, questions regarding mobile devices (Android), applications, servers, printers and more. You prioritize tickets and escalate as needed.
– Together with your IT colleagues, you look for structural solutions that ensure the performance of systems;
– You will prepare the necessary documentation (both software and hardware) and ensure that it is kept up-to-date;
– You will be responsible for the renewal of hardware in the store branches. In doing so, you will report to the Senior System Engineer. He will always be your sparring partner.
– You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably within IT or equivalent through experience;
– You have a first experience within IT Support or are a highly motivated school leaver;
– You have a good all-round IT knowledge and have knowledge of packages such as Office (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, ), Zoom, … and you are open to familiarize yourself with new packages. Experience with SAP and SDP are a plus;
– You are customer-oriented and can communicate technical information clearly and in a structured manner to end users (store personnel, management,…);
– You feel like a fish out of water in a dynamic, hands-on environment;
– You work proactively, taking on work independently and daring to ask for help when needed;
– You speak excellent Dutch and you are not afraid to help end users further in French.
