Our client, with offices in Antwerp, is one of the largest petroleum processing companies in the world. Due to continuous digitization and innovation within this company, they are looking for a driven Security Manager to join their team. You will work primarily from their offices in Antwerp or Rotterdam, but an attractive work-from-home policy is provided.
– As a Security Manager, you are the cornerstone in securing their valuable digital activities and data.
– From your risk analysis, you work toward a high-performance security strategy.
– Through regular communications, you raise awareness of security, aiming for a strong security culture throughout the organization.
– To manage and improve (Cyber) Security on a broad scale, your role spans various domains. Each month you report via the Security Score Card the incidents, the top 5 risks, the activities of the past month, and so on.
– You will also consult with external stakeholders, such as auditors and authorities, sometimes on-site at customer/supplier sites.
– Reporting to the IT Operations Team Lead, you will maintain close collaborations with other departments within the organization and be the local point of contact for the CISO.
– From translating corporate security initiatives into local IT projects, to procurement and representation.
– You give advice, identify necessary investments and, of course, stay abreast of new security risks.
– You have a Master’s degree in IT (or equivalent through experience) and a strong affinity for IT Security.
– You have at least 6-10 years of practical experience, of which at least 5 years in IT Security.
– You have relevant certifications in IT security (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, NIS).
– You have extensive knowledge of application security, including vulnerability testing and risk profile development.
– You follow industry trends and emerging technologies.
– You are able to apply risk principles to complex business requirements.
– You have a dose of management skills, can prioritize well and are known for your customer focus.
