System & Support Engineer

Are you a System & Support Engineer who enjoys being part of a dynamic infrastructure team?

Together with a diverse group of system and network specialists, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks.

In this role, you will be the first line of international support for the internal customer, troubleshooting and ensuring that all relevant software is installed on the PCs. You will also provide assistance to the system administrator as needed.

You will report directly to the ICT Infrastructure Manager.
Your main duties are:
– Install software on personal computers and provide user-friendly IT support to internal customers.
– First point of contact for network problems and provide telephone support for prompt service.
– Identify recurring problems and collaborate on preventive solutions.
– Actively contribute to documenting processes for a streamlined supporter experience.

– Passion for IT and broad knowledge of IT tools, structures, networks and protocols.
– Experience with networking and network management is a plus.
– Familiarity with Microsoft products.
– Strong technical understanding and analytical ability.
– Working in a planned and solution-oriented manner.
– Customer-oriented and patient attitude.
– Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Dealing with stressful situations and being flexible within the organization.
– Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and preferably someFrench.
– Willingness to alternate telephone permanence with colleagues.
