Product Engineer
For a specialized technology partner located in Kontich, we are looking for a Product Engineer.

Role description
As a Product Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of product, technology, and delivery. You will actively contribute to the development of the company’s products, translate ideas and customer feedback into concrete solutions, and ensure the quality of what is delivered.
More specifically, your responsibilities include:
Defining new features and product improvements based on business needs and customer feedback.
Translating requirements, specifications, and user stories into concrete deliverables.
Taking ownership from idea to delivery and working closely with product leadership on roadmap planning and prioritization.
Reviewing and validating AI-generated code and solutions while safeguarding quality standards.
Continuously improving development processes, quality controls, and ways of working.
Maintaining a broad view of the overall system landscape, taking security, availability, scalability, and maintainability into account.
Analyzing problems structurally, proposing improvements, and contributing to the further development of the product organization.
Monitoring and evaluating new technologies and AI tools to make software development smarter and more efficient.
Profile description
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, or equivalent through experience.
Several years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, technical product management, or a similar role.
Solid understanding of software development principles and modern application architectures.
Ability to read, understand, and critically evaluate code.
Experience with requirements analysis and translating business needs into practical solutions.
Strong analytical skills and a systems-thinking mindset.
Affinity with AI tools and modern software development practices.
Strong communication skills.
A curious, eager-to-learn, and pragmatic attitude.
