Senior ICT Business Analyst – International Projects

Our client is a worldwide player in the logistical field and is currently working on an in-house package of various logistical applications. These are developed with the assistance of international suppliers, supported by product specialists, architecture, and QC teams, with frequent software releases for rapid response to business needs.
As a Senior ICT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for determining and transforming business requirements into a detailed fit/gap Product Requirements Document (PRD) for the development of product features against the Operating System, as used worldwide.
This entails engaging representatives from the Business Unit of Operations and IT, and rolling out the outcome to Product Development teams.

Responsibilities:
• Engage representatives to facilitate and elaborate on business requirements in a more detailed and explicit format.
• Involve employees and management in prioritizing sets of business requirements.
• Participate in sessions and workshops, in case the level of complexity necessitates an additional phase.
• Identify key product gaps in advance, potential new or modified integrations with local applications, enabling better definition and understanding of the project scope.
• Review software designs to obtain customer confirmation and approval.
• Independently or in collaboration with key users, conduct appropriate reviews and evaluations of emerging new functionality before its release for introduction.
• As a senior member of the implementation team, continuously improve processes and methodology, and take on the role of coach for less experienced team members.
This perm position includes availability for international travel and short on-site visits to different sites, approx. three to five times per year.
Career evolutions in the medium term, if desired, include transitioning from a senior self-managed Business Analyst to an additional role of Customer Product Trainer, Lead BA / team lead role, Product Line Development Manager, and Deputy or full-scale Project Manager.
Profiel omschrijving
• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with demonstrable experience in ICT, Engineering, or Sciences.
• Experience: Very strong experience in ICT Business Analysis of high-end systems.
• Broad knowledge of IT systems and platforms.
• Languages: Full proficiency of the English language.
